At this time, many would-be Sellers are being held back from moving on to their next chapter of life from the fear that they may not be able to find a replacement home.
In our previous video we spoke about one option being to negotiate a Rent Back. (If you missed that video, you can check it out here.) Another option that Sellers have is to buy New Construction. There are several new construction communities throughout the greater Seattle area.
One benefit of Buying the New Construction route is that there are multiple phases of construction and you could find a home now that you wouldnβt move into until a later date. Make sure you hire an experienced real estate professional to help you negotiate the best terms for your particular needs.
If after watching, you decide that this strategy is right for you, get in touch with us for a free consultation to see what your options are in todayβs market!

Nervous about selling your home here in the Greater Seattle area because there is limited inventory available and you’re afraid that you won’t be able to find a replacement property? I know it’s a valid concern. I totally understand. I would be nervous too. But there are a lot of solutions to this problem and we’ve helped many sellers this past month alone who had the same concern and we helped navigate a solution for them.
Hi, I’m Steve Hill with Sandra Brenner of the BrennerHill Team at Windermere. We have many solutions and strategies in finding a replacement home even with limited inventory that we can discuss when we meet in person.
One solution is to look at new construction, as there are several new construction communities throughout our area. It’s very important to work with an agent, especially when purchasing new construction so that you are protected. Many times, builders with new construction have homes that have fallen out of escrow and they want to sell these homes quickly because of the carrying costs.
Another safety net, if you’re worried about finding a replacement home is that there are several phases of construction and you could find a home now that you wouldn’t move into until a later date. You could put a deposit on a new home, and then we would work with the buyer of your home to negotiate terms that keep you safe, so you don’t have to worry about having a place to live.
There are many more solutions we have to get you the home of your dreams, even with limited inventory, so give us a call. And don’t worry, there’s never any pressure or obligation in meeting with us. We’re here to help you navigate the best strategy when selling.
