This past weekend we had six openย ๐ชย house events and it was apparent that buyers are out in force, especially on Saturday. Buyers are super optimistic because they think that thereโs a little more inventory and itโs not quite competitive.
As always, we review the NW Seattle area housingย ๐ย numbers over the past week. Inventory levels have actually come down a little bit from last week. We currently have 172 homesย ๐๏ธ available in Northwest Seattle, and this week demand definitely outpaced supply. We had 55 new listings hit the market and 63 went pending. The vast majority of homes have gone under contract in 9 days or less.
Interest rates are holding steady at historicallyย ๐ย low levels. A 30-year fixed is at 3.125% and Jumbos are incredibly low at 2.875%. This is great newsย ๐ฐย for buyers and sellers.
