This past weekend we had six openΒ πͺΒ house events and it was apparent that buyers are out in force, especially on Saturday. Buyers are super optimistic because they think that thereβs a little more inventory and itβs not quite competitive.
As always, we review the NW Seattle area housingΒ πΒ numbers over the past week. Inventory levels have actually come down a little bit from last week. We currently have 172 homesΒ ποΈ available in Northwest Seattle, and this week demand definitely outpaced supply. We had 55 new listings hit the market and 63 went pending. The vast majority of homes have gone under contract in 9 days or less.
Interest rates are holding steady at historicallyΒ πΒ low levels. A 30-year fixed is at 3.125% and Jumbos are incredibly low at 2.875%. This is great newsΒ π°Β for buyers and sellers.
