This past weekend we had six open 🚪 house events and it was apparent that buyers are out in force, especially on Saturday. Buyers are super optimistic because they think that there’s a little more inventory and it’s not quite competitive.
As always, we review the NW Seattle area housing 📈 numbers over the past week. Inventory levels have actually come down a little bit from last week. We currently have 172 homes 🏘️ available in Northwest Seattle, and this week demand definitely outpaced supply. We had 55 new listings hit the market and 63 went pending. The vast majority of homes have gone under contract in 9 days or less.
Interest rates are holding steady at historically 📉 low levels. A 30-year fixed is at 3.125% and Jumbos are incredibly low at 2.875%. This is great news 📰 for buyers and sellers.
