Here’s what stands out: across the Northwest Multiple Listing Service region, closed home sales in October were about 4 % below last October and pending sales dropped 6 %. On the supply side, new listings remained roughly even with last year (just 4 % higher), but active inventory soared by 29 %, giving buyers notably more options than a year ago. That uptick in inventory is already starting to ease pricing: the median residential home-sale price dipped about 2 % to around $660,000.
