

Our local market has been extremely resilient amid talks of a possible recession and trade wars. Buyers are still very active. In SW Snohomish County, homes going under contract were up 21.5% over the past two weeks and NW Seattle was down by just 4.5%.
New homes hitting the market is also on the rise, which is expected this time of year, as May and June tend to be our highest months of new listings. Buyers are not keeping up with new listings, which is why inventory is climbing in both markets. Closed home values have also remained steady.
Interest rates have been hanging out in the mid 6s for the past three weeks. While we would all love to see rates come down, the stability is welcomed
