Furevermore is the Seattle Animal Shelter’s most critical event, as it represents their largest opportunity to raise funds in support of Seattle’s most in-need animals. Funds raised at this event have helped support numerous programs that the shelter relies on to make a continued impact within our city.

Some examples of the programs that generous donations and funds generated at the annual Gala have supported are: Buying an X-Ray machine and building out an X-Ray Suite at the Shelter with necessary equipment (so injured animals can be diagnosed on site) Subsidizing the Shelter’s Spay and Neuter Program Providing support for the Shelter’s Veterinary Clinic Supporting the Licensing Assistance Program Supporting the Feline Fospice (foster-hospice) Care Program Supporting the Foster Care Programs Quality of Life Improvements for in-need animals Positive Behavioral Modification Program – this program is critical to ensuring that animals are assessed prior to adoption, is entirely donor funded, and represents some of the most critical cases in the Shelter. This program has saved over 1,329 dogs and 2,243 cats! This year they have some fun auction items – a safari in South Africa, a puppy party at your office, a Whistler getaway, Seahawks tickets to any game, a cruise to your chosen destination, a ride along with Katniss the K-9 officer, a glassybaby workshop at the Madrona studio, and more!
