Adoptable Pets at the Seattle Animal Shelter
Meet Mimi 2 Toyz!
Why the silly name? When her people come home, Mimi gets really excited and grabs not 1, but 2 toys to bring them! Mimi knows a bunch of your words – sit, lie down, come, and she’d love to learn more. String cheese or chicken are good motivators. She prefers a warm, soft bed to roughing it. She is anxious about other dogs so need help navigating when on walks and really do not want anyone else coming between you and her. Also, no cats in the home please. She’s learning “leave it” and making great progress. Come and meet her and let her spend the rest of her life with you!
Shadow is a middle aged cat full of personality, who wants nothing more than to follow you around and sit next to you, purring away. Shadow craves attention, but on his own terms. He prefers proximity to his humans over being pet, so he would do well in the home of an experienced cat person who can pay attention to his signals and offer him lots of enrichment. He needs a home with no small children and no other pets. Despite his rather hefty weight, he also loves to play. If given the right opportunity, Shadow will be zooming around your home chasing after whatever you put in front of him! He would do well in a somewhat spacious home with interesting views and room to play. And perhaps an extra sink to lounge around in.
Handsome young Yeti is a fun happy guy!
He loves playing hide and seek in his cardboard forts. He likes to hop around for lots of exercise. And he loves eating his hay and fresh greens! After all this busy time Yeti loves to get his nose rubs, gentle pets and attention from his loving foster family.
He really is a perfect boy rabbit!
Yeti is available for adoption and he is currently being adored in foster care!
Meet Gunther! A curious, inquisitive chap. He’s a timid guy that likes to hide but hang around long enough and he’ll soon come out of his shell. He likes to watch you work and study your every move! For him, more knowledge leads to more confidence!
Gunther would probably love a guinea pig friend, that can help him blossom into a more confident boy. A quieter, calmer household or space will be ideal for this friend.
Loki is a senior Min pin who needs a home willing to commit to his ongoing diet! He has some senior health issues and losing some wight would be very beneficial for him. He only has one tooth and enjoys very slow walks. He is mostly happy to lounge all day.
