We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to help Sylvia and Rodney sell their condo near our office. They bought the condo a few years ago to help their daughter out. When it was time to sell, they researched online for a real estate agent. Sylvia and Rodney live in California and needed someone who they could trust to handle everything for them. When they came upon Steve and I, they liked what they saw online and reached out to us.
On our first phone call, Sylvia and I hit it off like old friends! On our first Zoom call, Steve and I went over our price opinion and our marketing & listing process. At the end, Rodney commented that it was a great presentation and that he didn’t know what to expect, but he wasn’t expecting such “real and down to earth people”. Of course, that made Steve and I laugh! Rodney and Sylvia were such a joy to work with.
During the course of listing their condo and reviewing offers, we had several Zoom calls. A highlight of every call for me, was also seeing their two beautiful kittens- siblings Pippa and Will. They were recent shelter adoptees for Sylvia and Rodney. I have to say, they are two of the most gorgeous kitties I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I love their white eyeliner! Sylvia and Rodney also got a kick out of meeting Willow, my disabled pet pigeon who, I must say, is quite adorable.
My favorite aspect of my work is meeting lots of people from different industries, cultures and backgrounds. There is a lot of diversity, but the commonality is that Steve and I tend to attract very lovely clients to work with. Not all of our clients are pet owners, but I would say a great deal of them have a deep fondness of animals and love that Steve and I support the Seattle Animal Shelter. It is always so rewarding to work with people who share a common love and who also appreciate what you do, on and off the court!
